No people, just a bulletin board with pictures on it. One was of the man who was in your dream. Vergil. The one who called you foolish and attacked you.

Sasuke's not like him.

Who else was on it?

Other men who looked a little like him. And Tadashi.

Those were probably just people that I dated, or kissed, or something like that. Sasuke's done some pretty stupid stuff but he's never done anything like what Vergil did.

I didn't actually date Sasuke. There were just some complicated things going on, okay?

He was in my class in school. Most of the other girls had a crush on him, too.

Anyways, that's not even the point. The point is, he's my friend, and even if he's kind of bad at being nice to people sometimes there's no reason to be hostile.

He's not "bad news". He's just had a lot of bad things happen to him, and we were literally in the middle of an all-out world war at home. I've had plenty of time to deal with it, but he just got here.

Can you at least try to be?

I would have tried to try if he wasn't instantly horrible. But I'll try trying again.

If he hurts you I'll kill him. [This is not hyperbole in any way.]

[ I would probably be instantly horrible too if I had gone through what he had, she thinks, but. That's more than she was expecting out of Caesar (and more than he really owes Sasuke, to be honest), so she'll go with it. ]

He's not going to hurt me. He's been very helpful and polite. You just have to know how to deal with him.

Well, in the case of right now, he just wants information, which is what I'm giving him. In exchange for the information that I wanted, since he's from my future.

Otherwise, he's kind of a broody loner, so leaving him to his own devices is usually best.

[ She says, like she's not going to try and bully him into hanging out with her anyways. ]

He's not a very trusting person right off the bat, and he's been really isolated the last few years. It'll take him time to settle down and actually want to interact with people. But he'll get there. He's done it before.
